 Clean Adventures a transitional living facility with an intensive outpatient therapeutic component. We are a 12 Step based program integrating mind, body, and spirit work. Our therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as rational emotive behavior therapy. Our program offers freedom from addictions, compulsive behaviors, and underlying trauma. We provide treatment for individuals afflicted with the disease of drug addiction and/or alcoholism, as well as co-occurring psychological afflictions. We are a six month self-pay program requiring a three month minimum commitment. We implement mandatory weekly random drug and alcohol screening as well.
During your stay here you will have household commitments and community expectations for which you will be held accountable. You will gain life skills such as cooking, cleanliness and budgeting your finances. You will also learn goal setting and know how to accomplish them.
You will have a caring staff who will mark your progress and guide you on your path to a better life. You are provided a safe environment to learn assertive communication and conflict resolution. Upon completion of our program you will have the necessary tools to re-integrate as a responsible and productive member of society.
You can join in activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, golfing and other outdoor activities. We also offer full use of a gym.
You are not alone in your recovery. You will make friends who share your goals for a successful recovery and a better life. We recently expanded our neurofeedback program, which we have found to be one of the most effective tools in preventing relapse.

Sunrise Detox is a free-standing detoxification facility that is licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) . We have private and semi-private rooms available. Other amenities include an entertainment center with a 50 inch Plasma TV, digital cable and a large DVD collection. Our enclosed courtyard is designed with luxuries furnishings, where clients can smoke, and have access to telephones. We are located just minutes from I-95 and Palm Beach International Airport. We are a licensed buprenorphine medical detoxification facility; most clients going through detox for heroin or opiate pain medication (e.g. Oxycontin, Percocet and Vicodin) will be given Buprenorphine. Our doctors do however create individual detox protocols, tailored to each clients specific needs.

 Sober College is a transitional treatment center for young adults, 17-25 struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Our program is based on five core competencies: Sobriety, Emotional Intelligence, Productivity, Life Skills and Fitness. Our highly trained staff works with each student individually in order to integrate and balance all five of these areas of achievement. Each resident is required to work closely with a sponsor in a 12-step program while they are at Sober College. During their stay, residents learn the skills needed to transition into society.
What sets Sober College a step above other treatment centers is our sense of community as well as our ability to create individualized plans for our students. Our goal is to discover each resident’s passion and help them work toward a realistic goal within that ideal. Sober College offers both vocational and educational tracks for our students so they are able to progress and feel the success needed in order to build confidence. A large focus here is on providing a strong community setting. We firmly believe it is vital for our residents to develop a support system within their similar age range who have had similar experiences. We have a strong alumni group in the surrounding area that serves as support and guidance for our current residents as well. The “Real Life Program” is a combination of our clinical, residential, and activities program. The Cove Residence is a simulated “home-life” environment, supervised by trained professionals, in which daily life experiences occur. Sober Fun activities may include bowling, movies, beach outings and barbeques, AA and/or NA conventions and events. Premier activities are scheduled monthly, which may include snorkeling, fishing, excursions on a glass bottom boat, airboat tours, or a trip to the Everglades.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment is available, incorporating the comprehensive treatment program and “Real Life” approach to recovery in a flexible therapeutic schedule.
After Care, The Cove Center prepares each person for a successful recovery with an aftercare program that includes a support system, AA or NA meetings and personal accountability. Intensive Outpatient or Outpatient Treatment may be recommended upon successful completion of the program.

 The complete name of our facility is "The Marguerite Burke Ringer Mental Health Center." We offer outpatient services only. Our clients come to see us because they are not enjoying their lives as they might. We commonly treat people for depression, anxiety, stress related problems, family problems, attention deficit and substance abuse. The first session with us is an evaluation and assessment process that helps us make a plan for success. We offer individual and family counseling. Although our primary services are for adults, we are qualified and skilled at treating adolescents and some children over the age of five.
We are licensed by the state of NC to provide DWI assessments. We are one of the few providers who are also credentialed to meet the strict new Department of Transportation guidelines for substance abuse assessment and treatment.We were also selected by the Guilford County Court System to provide "The First Offenders Program." We also offer outpatient detoxification services for those client who may not afford inpatient or elect to try and detoxify from alcohol or other drugs without a hospital admission. Our substance abuse services are second to none and we offer individual counseling or the more intensive outpatient program depending on your level of need. We follow a twelve stepped based philosophy and have four clinicians who are also recovering themselves - for a combined forty years. We all enjoy our sober life styles and hope to help others find recovery.
